How To Free Up your Mind

A beautiful novel was published few weeks ago on amazon by one Lexa Lubanga. Such artistry and self belief. I will lie if I said I have read Girl On The Other Side, but I have it. Girl has a voice through her blogs and an entitlement to love and everything about it. Am excited she has written for my blog exclusively.

Shall we get into it….

How to free up your mind.

1.”Hey, can I tell you what I wish for today ?”

Change your conversations to that..other than telling each other how much you made and how little you have.Make it practical,”your wishing moments” in particular.I know right now you are wishing to meet somebody someday or having this and that.Yeah,it’s totally good to wish. Now,have you told anyone what you are wishing for today? Or do you just want to keep it to your self?Free it and let others be happy about it.

That’s a good tip if you really dont know how to make conversations with anyone.

2.Draw

When was the last time you drew? Like just drawing any thing, even if it’s your name, making a wonder out of the letters, when was that? Now did you know that when you draw it actually eases you up and as you’re deep lost into it all your worries are gone? In drawing you can make all that you want.whatever runs in your head runs with your pencil or pen.It reduces tension.

3.Listen to old music.

Living in a world of this face and that, happiness and love, peace and hope has always been everyone’s prayer. But it comes a time when all wish for is to die.All you want is to make a run out of the miseries, just to be alone.

Gone are the good days,I mean classical days where all of life happenings were turned into melodies.Sweet slow melodies.Music had meaning unlike the generation we are in now, music saved lives.Days of Nina Simone (A jazz, rnb and a gospel artist),Kenny Rodgers, and others who made music food for the soul. When life turns into a nightmare, save yourself with good old music. And dont just listen to the melody, listen to the words. That works great!I promise.

4.Worry less
Tommorow isn’t promised to anyone. At least that’s what the books tell us and what people have proven it to be correct.I don’t recall having read anywhere that life is going to be easy for everyone.we live a life that we all wish for ourselves.we mould our futures and forget about our yesterdays as we grind. “An idle mind Is the devil’s workshop” they say but a busy mind is a calm mind. Busy in the sense that you spend most of the time having a good moments and thinning of the positivity life could bring to you.Worrying less about people a s things that do not even know you’re worrying about. So why not relax your mind and live life to the fullest.

5. Journal.
We all know what a journal or a diary is. Have you ever asked yourself why talking to your self helps clear your mind?Yeah probably you have.Having a conversation either good or not really good with yourself is amazing.Trust me.So basically what I can suggest Is that journal ,even if it’s once in a while.Go out of the world for once and put down on paper what you want yo tell yourself or you’d like one day to remember because we all keep our dairies for the future. It may seem hard for some of abit awkward, just to sit and write about how your day was and how someone made you smile, but it’s an assurance that journals do help clear the mind and restore peace.

Lastly Smile often!!

And with that I hope you mind finds the comfort you’ve always wished for.I mean give life a beautiful chance and set yourself free from all the chains!
